As one of several software and data crunching pros who make up the Operational Support Technician team, Yvonne Stringer’s priority is being there for customers, day or night, to make sure they’re getting the most out of FirstWatch.
Yvonne brings extensive experience in both public safety and software to the role since joining FirstWatch in 2012.

She worked as an EMT and an ambulance dispatcher for 11 years in San Diego, followed by 15 years as a software test manager for a public safety communications firm. Combining the “people” side of public safety with the technological capabilities of software — particularly, the ability of data to give a more nuanced view of what’s happening in the field — is what attracts her to the work. “I love to gather information and see what it can tell us and how we can use it to improve processes and patient care,” she says.

When she’s not at work, you can usually find Yvonne enjoying her crazy household that includes her awesome husband, a dancing high school daughter and college age son, as well as her mini zoo that includes three big dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs, two parakeets,  a turtle and 2 aquariums. Whew!  Yvonne would say her household is crazy but filled with lots of love. She also enjoys volunteering at her church, special needs functions and animal causes.
